The first generation S14 type Aristo was released in October 1991 as a brand new model. It had the same mechanisms and chassis as the S14 type Crown Majesta. Its body design was by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Equipped with a 2JZ-GTE engine, the Aristo was called the fastest Japanese Sedan at that time.
