The BAe Sea Harrier FRS Mk.1 is the Royal Navy's only fixed-wing carrier-based aircraft, and has all-weather combat and attack capabilities. The Sea Harrier is an aircraft developed for use on ships from the Royal Air Force's vertical take-off and landing aircraft, the Harrier, and its cockpit is 28cm higher. The nose is equipped with a Blue Fox air/anti-ship radar and is capable of firing AIM-9L anti-aircraft missiles and P3T Sea Eagle anti-ship missiles.
