GodHand Brushwork PRO Cat's Tongue Brush (GH-EBRSP-ON)
A hybrid brush that can be used as both a flat brush and a face brush!
With a wide base and a pointed tip, this is a convenient brush that has two functions.
You can use the entire brush to paint a surface, or use the thin tip to create detailed drawings, and paint just the way you want with just one brush.
This brush can be used in a variety of ways depending on your ideas.
A brush that embodies the attention to detail that goes into model painting!
The Brushwork PRO is a delicate brush, with each bristle made by a brush craftsman who specializes in artificial bristles.
Unlike typical synthetic fiber brushes, the bristles do not dry out or tear easily, so you can always maintain a freshly grated feel when using it.
The bristles are made of pure Japanese synthetic hair (PBT) that is also designed to be stiff.
The brushes themselves are also made by hand, one by one, by Japanese brush craftsmen who specialize in synthetic hair.
Brushes made of animal hair tend to be damaged, torn, or brittle when immersed in solvents, but Brushwork PRO's PBT bristles are solvent-resistant, so they are less likely to be damaged.
The glue that holds the brush tip is also solvent-resistant, so the brush tip can be maintained in good condition for a long time.
The brush tip is adjusted to be stiff enough to make it easy to paint models, so it is more flexible than general synthetic fiber brushes.
We have a variety of brush tip shapes so that you can use them depending on the painting situation.
If the brush tip is short, the amount of water that can be absorbed by the paint will be reduced, causing the paint to dry out quickly.
For this reason, Brushwork PRO designs the length of the brush tip to balance ease of drawing and water absorption.
The specially processed PBT bristles allow even bristles that have bent at the base to be straightened back to their original tip by using hot water over 90℃.
How to fix a brush with bent bristles
Remove any dirt from the brush before immersing it in hot water.
*Be careful not to get burned as hot water over 90℃ is used.
1. Fill a heat-resistant container with hot water over 90℃ and immerse the bent bristles of the brush for about 10 seconds.
2. Use the wall of the container with hot water to straighten the bent bristles.
3. Raise the brush along the wall while maintaining a straight state.
4. Check that the base of the brush you have pulled up is straight, and finish by drying.
*If the bristles have reached the end of their life, they may not be able to be fixed.
*Please note that if the hot water becomes warm during the process, the brush will not be able to be fixed properly.
