On March 2, 1985, Mobile Suit Z Gundam was broadcast on TV as a sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam. Set in U.C.0087, about seven years after the end of the One Year War, this work is still very popular today for its serious story of the three-way battle between AEUG, Titans, and Axis, and for the unique mobile suits that appear. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the TV broadcast of Mobile Suit Z Gundam!
