Bonsai Plastic Model Kit Unveiled

A plastic model kit featuring an Azuma Goyomatsu Bonsai created under the direction of NEIGHBORHOOD and using the latest technology from BANDAI SPIRITS

Leaves

Four types of leaf parts are included. Delicate expressions can be created depending on their orientation.

Trunk / Branches

Resin materials containing wood powder have been used to create natural wood textures. The uneven surface of the bark has also been realistically reproduced using molding technology.

Wiring

Three wires of different thicknesses are included to reproduce the wiring applied to bend or reposition the direction the branches grow.

Moss

The moss on the base with intricate three-dimensional surface textures has been reproduced with a single part.

Pot

This is a rectangular pot with an original design where the NEIGHBORHOOD and BANDAI SPIRITS logos, as well as the words "SPECIMEN RESEARCH LABORATORY" are engraved in English.

The line is inspired by the succulents and cactus that Shinsuke Takizawa, the Creative Director of NEIGHBORHOOD, has been passionate about in recent years. The SRL line features planters, plant cultivation tools, and even apparel.
