A little about myself, my first encounter with gunpla was at a toy store in Suzhou when I was barely 4 years old, when I saw these white, green and red robots with a big round red eye.
I started the hobby when I was 10 years old when I received my first gunpla kit, a 1/100 Justice Gundam, for my birthday. I then stumbled upon Gundam Seed on tv at a shopping mall in Shanghai and the sleek Gundam Seed HG boxarts completely captivated me. Despite this start, I ended up being more attracted to the weird, cute and funny Zeonic mobile suits.
I entered my first competition in Montreal when I was around 14 with a clean painted HGUC Zogok and have been competing since out of the love for the game. I have continuously participated in contests ever since and would always talk to different judges for feedback and for direction. As a real mecha lover, I naturally tended towards weathering when that was a feedback that was brought up.
Through years of learning techniques from tank, aircraft, naval, scifi modelers from all around the world and experimenting blends of techniques, I've developed my own approach to weathering gunpla that I will teach you.
