Deploy to the front lines with the RG 1/144 Gundam Ground Type, an all-new Real Grade model kit from Bandai Hobby, bringing the rugged RX-79[G] from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team to life. This kit emphasizes the machine's functional military appearance with detailed mechanical construction, realistic styling, and extensive articulation designed for ground-combat roles.

Experience the detailed inner frame and dense surface detail at 1/144 scale, a hallmark of RG construction, perfectly suiting the Ground Type's utilitarian design. The newly developed internal frame allows for strong articulation, particularly through the feet, waist, and legs, enabling dynamic poses such as kneeling and firing stances seen in the anime.

The kit features impressive gimmicks, including chest panels that open to reveal Vulcan cannons and an opening cockpit hatch. Leg-mounted saber racks can be opened and closed, allowing for the attachment and detachment of the beam sabers. The backpack-mounted weapon container is fully functional, capable of being raised or lowered, and includes a locking mechanism where the internal weapon storage rack moves in conjunction with the side panel. Builders also have the option to assemble the head antenna in either white or yellow.
