At Argama Hobby, our goal has always been to make the world of hobbies more accessible and affordable for enthusiasts across Canada and the U.S. As a small team, we may take a little longer to respond at times, but we never shy away from challenges - especially those surrounding cross-border shipping, tariffs, and rising carrier costs.
After a short pause, we’re happy to share some good news: U.S. orders and shipping have now resumed! 🎉
To make your shopping experience clearer and smoother, we’ve introduced a few updates to our website:

Country of Origin Display: Each product listing now includes the country of origin to help you understand potential tariff impacts before checkout.

Duty/Tariff Transparency: At checkout, you’ll see a separate line for any applicable duty or tariff. This charge allows us to ship your order using the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) method—meaning your package will arrive seamlessly, without unexpected delays or extra charges upon delivery. (Note: customers who placed an order previously and had not yet paid duty upfront, upon receipt of your instruction to ship we will invoice such duty to you accordingly for settlement)
Due to customs requirements and increased carrier costs, our shipping rates and free shipping thresholds have been adjusted (details are available on our Shipping Policy page). We’ve kept these adjustments as minimal as possible - absorbing much of the increase on our end - to reduce the impact on our customers. We’ll continue to monitor the situation closely and share updates as needed.
