DETAILS:
Classy 'n Dressy has released a water-based emulsion paint "Acrysion" that has been improved for crafts! It comes in different colors than the conventional "Acrysion".
<Product Features>
- By increasing the viscosity of the paint compared to conventional model acrylics, the color adhesion and operability when brush painting have been improved.
- It can be widely used for craft painting, such as brush painting on resin and wood, and coloring by kneading it into polymer clay.
- The finish is matte type, and when completely dry, it has a texture like building blocks.
- It has an exquisite balance between paint performance and safety while reducing the amount of organic solvent used. It is non-flammable and has a level of safety that meets the strict European chemical substance regulation standards.
- By using only organic solvents that do not violate the Offensive Odor Prevention Act, the generation of solvent odor is minimized and the work environment is greatly improved.
- Although it is a water-based paint, it has achieved quick drying and high coating strength.
Unlike solvent-based paints that dissolve and adhere to plastic resins, this paint adheres to the paint by its own adhesive power. It can be applied to urethane resins, which have strong solvent resistance, without a primer. It can also be applied to polycarbonate. However, in terms of adhesion, performance will improve if you perform a primer and other surface preparation.
<About dilution>
- You can use it as is without diluting it. If it is difficult to apply, add 1-2 drops of water or Acrysion Retarder (recommended) before use. Please note that if you dilute it too much, the pigment will easily flow and uneven color will easily occur on the painted surface.
- If using with an airbrush, please use Acrysion Airbrush Thinner Modified. (Dilution ratio: paint 1: thinner 2).
Tools such as brushes and airbrushes after painting can be washed with water before the paint dries. After drying, it will not dissolve in water, so please wash it with Acrysion's dedicated tool cleaner.
*The top layer of clear and acrylic paint is milky white, but becomes transparent when dry.
*It can be painted over Mr. Color and enamel paints. It cannot be used over old label water-based hobby colors or other companies' water-based acrylic paints as it will cause cracks.
*It cannot be mixed with water-based hobby colors or Mr. Color.
*Once hardened and solidified, acrylic will not dissolve again. Also, if the paint or thinner becomes acidic due to high room temperature, the paint will solidify.
