1/24 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R KPGC110 1973 (Hasegawa Historic Car Series HC49)
This is an injection-plastic passenger car kit.
This kit from Hasegawa is a completely new mold! The fourth-generation Skyline (C110 type), which appeared in September 1972, was commonly called "Ken Mary" from the advertising campaign "Ken and Mary Skyline;" it gained high popularity and was sold in huge numbers. The Skyline 2000GT-R (KPGC110) was equipped with the S2o-type DOHC engine, and was sold from January 1973; it's a "phantom model" whose production was discontinued after only a small number were made, due to the influence of the 1973 emissions regulations. The chassis is molded in white, and the front molding, bumpers (front and rear), headlight/taillight mirror surfaces, emblem, fender mirror surface, muffler, doorknobs and more are plated.
