The 7th release of Volks IMS series, "Terror Mirage" has finally appeared!
The TERROR MIRAGE is a MIRAGE MACHINE that has its scouting and stealth capabilities strengthened beyond the CROSS MIRAGE. Originally developed for reconnaissance and spying, the TERROR MIRAGE is superior with fighting at night and in bad weather conditions.
The unique pattern painted all over its body is known as “confusion armor”. It emits jamming signals in order to confuse the enemy’s scanning signals. It is specially designed to interfere with the enemy’s optical scanning. The lower body has the same design as the L.E.D. MIRAGE, which makes a contrast with its relatively compact upper body. In order to not impede its fine movements, the TERROR MIRAGE is equipped with Gran Seekers, signal flares, missiles, etc., that is all stored away in its tough shoulder armor. Its standard issue compact Veil can also be equipped at both the waist and the arms. Folded away behind its waist, it is equipped with an enormous homing boomerang called the “Val Balahs”. When it is ready to carry in its arms, its “Veil” can be hung from the waist.
This work pursued "movability" more than the conventional IMS, various mechanisms are included in every part of the body such as shoulder armor and face cover, and two Grand Seekers are also included, so you can reproduce the famous scene in the play.
The shuriken-shaped homing boomerang "Barbara," which can be said to be synonymous with the main horse, can be stored or deployed. Not only does it come with a special wrist for holding, but it also has special support parts at the base of both arms so that it can be displayed for a long time with the "highly raised pose" that is particularly impressive in the original story.
When making an injection kit, meticulous attention is paid to "ease of assembly" and "ease of movement", and various adjustments are made. In order to completely reproduce the impressive pose, for example, the ankle is composed of "an image of the heel part stored in the heel" while respecting the form in the play, realizing beautiful and stable independence.
