The Perfect Grade (PG) Unicorn Gundam series continues to impress with the release of the Gold Plated Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex [Narrative Version]. This model kit features entirely new molded parts specifically designed for the tail stabilizers, while also utilizing the same molds from the original PG 1/60 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex released in 2017.

The RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03 Phenex, first presented in "Mobile Suit Gundam UC: One of Seventy Two," is also featured in the manga "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. 0096: Last Sun" and the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn." It had its animated debut in the film "Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative." Known pilots include Rita Bernal and Jona Basta.

The Phenex was secretly created by Earth Federation Forces, apart from the Vist Foundation's UC Project. It includes a psycho-frame body built with data from Units 1 and 2. Unlike its brother units, the Phenex features a phoenix motif, as evidenced by its intricate horn/V-fin and golden body.
