For the first time in 32 years, since the August 1993 issue, dinosaurs are back in the cover feature of Monthly Hobby Japan!

More than 30 years have passed since "Jurassic Park," and the latest film, "Jurassic World: Resurrection," is the seventh installment of the "Jurassic" series. Dinosaurs, fearsome yet cool, brimming with the romanticism of ancient times, are captivating audiences of all ages. This issue, coinciding with the release of "Jurassic World: Resurrection," will be featuring the "Jurassic" series! From introductions to the films and expert dinosaur commentary to dioramas recreating famous scenes from the films, we'll bring you a powerful glimpse into the allure of dinosaurs.

In addition, as this is a special summer vacation issue, we'll also feature a second feature, "A Look Back at 45 Years of Gunpla in HJ!" It's been 45 years since the first Gunpla, "Best Mecha Collection 1/144 Gundam," was released in July 1980. Monthly Hobby Japan has been following the ever-evolving world of Gunpla for over 45 years, and as such, we'll be unraveling the history of Gunpla in a way that only they can, by revisiting past examples that have graced the pages of the magazine.

Also, keep an eye out for the [Special Feature] "Yukikaze"! To commemorate the release of the film "Yukikaze," which depicts the battles of the Yukikaze, known as the "lucky ship," we'll be featuring the Japanese Navy destroyer Yukikaze. In addition to ship models and how-to guides, don't miss the film commentary and an interview with supervisor Harutoshi Fukui!!
