Space Battleship Yamato: The Voyage of the Space Battleship Yamato

In October 1974, the sensational TV animation "Space Battleship Yamato" was broadcast, shaking up the history of television animation and the hobby industry. Its robust storyline and visuals, along with its captivating quality, captured the hearts of both young and old. The Yamato Mecha Collection character plastic model kits were also a huge hit, making it a monumental work that laid the foundation for the enduring relationship between anime and plastic models. In recent years, a remake series based on the TV series has been released to great acclaim, and even more than 50 years after its broadcast, the series' momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
