IMPORTANT NOTICE ON SHIPMENT TO US

At Argama Hobby we strive to offer a viable alternative access to hobby at a reasonable price to customers in Canada and US.
However we are now getting into some hiccups with the tariff which US Government imposed on goods from overseas based on their manufacturing country of origin.
Originally personal purchases with amount less than US$800 will not be subject to any duties (per Section 321 de minimis policy). However as of May 1 2025, Section 321 will no longer applied to goods with a country of origin from China. This means tariff will be required on all items with a Chinese manufacturing origin - regardless of the retail value.
We are doing the best we can to comply with regulations while providing necessary information for our customers in this regard. As such:
1) Starting from May 2, we will consider shipping to our US customers via carriers with DDU options (Delivered Duty Unpaid - recipients pay duty at delivery) if we noticed a) some of the items in the orders are made in China, and/or b) overall accumulated value of order being shipped is over US$800.
2) We tried our best to show the country of origin on all of our products as part of the product page description. So you will have a good idea of where the items are manufactured before making your purchasing/shipping decision. As we are a small team we might probably forget to show this info in some of our products - please feel free to send us email and ask if you encounter such cases.
3) We strongly suggest our US customers to ship their orders (or instruct us to ship the order should there are items in the Private Warehouse) before May 1 2025 to at least avoid any possible tariff effects due to the Section 321 revision hit.
Since the tariff situation changes continuously we will keep a close eye on the situation and obtain clarification from our logistics partner - and we will update you timely should there are further important development.
