Mr.Color SMS01 - MIRROR SILVER

This is a silver paint that produces a mirror-like finish.

This is an advanced paint for airbrushing.

<Product Features>
・By painting over a glossy surface, you can achieve a mirror-like silver finish. If used on a non-glossy surface, a mirror finish cannot be achieved.

・As a base coat, we recommend Acrylion glossy colors (especially black). Acrylion paint films have high solvent resistance after drying, making them less prone to erosion compared to other paints. This allows the mirror silver to adhere while maintaining the glossy surface. (※However, this applies when using an airbrush. When brush painting, the high solvent content will erode the Acrylion surface.)

× Water-based Hobby Color (The gloss will quickly disappear, and the metallic finish will be lost.)

・After applying Acrylion, allow it to dry for about a day before applying the mirror silver. When applying, do not apply a large amount at once; instead, narrow the needle slightly and apply a thin, sprinkling coat. (See video)

If too much is applied at once, the surface will become whitish and the mirror length will be halved.

* After applying Mirror Silver, allow it to fully cure for 2 days to 1 week before coating with Water-Based Hobby Color Gloss Clear or Acrylion Gloss Clear. Applying either will result in a slight cloudiness. You can also achieve a color-plated finish with clear color paint.

<Dilution>
* Dilution is not necessary.

<Cleaning Method>
* Please use Mr. Tool Cleaner Kai to clean tools.

Caution:
* This paint contains organic solvents. Ensure good ventilation during and after use.

* The numbers such as H-1 in the color sample are approximate color numbers for Water-Based Hobby Color.

* When painting ABS resin parts, the paint may penetrate the resin, making the parts brittle and prone to cracking. Please carefully check the assembly instructions and part runner markings, and avoid painting "ABS resin parts."
