The newest member of Bandai's "Plannosaurus" model-kit series is the Therizinosaurus, a large theropod from the late Cretaceous period! This lineup encourages you to learn about dinosaurs by assembling them yourself from the skeleton out! Begin with the "skeletal build," assembling the dinosaur's skeleton piece by piece; the "dinosaur build" then allows you to attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. Nippers and glue are not required, so theyr'e easy to assemble, too!

The Therizinosaurus's outer skin expresses feathers all over its body, including the flight feathers on its arms and the well-developed tail feathers, which are said to have been used for courtship and intimidation. Unlike other theropods, the heavyweight Therizinosaurus also had the tips of its thumbs touching the ground. Its powerful hind legs are sculpted based on academic theory. The strong, leaf-shaped teeth with rough jagged edges and the sturdy beak at the front of its mouth are three-dimensionalized based on academic theory. The three long, but very thin, gently curved claws (distal phalanges) that are very similar to those of a sloth are also reproduced. Order yours today before they go extinct!
